Controller: Vehicle Stock - Ford Kempton Park Gauteng

We are seeking a Detail-Oriented Controller for our Vehicle Stock department at Ford Kempton Park. In this key role, you will focus on managing inventory processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and optimizing stock levels to support our operations and sales goals.

Oversee vehicle stock management processes, including receiving, tracking, and inventory control. Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of vehicle stock levels and movements. Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to forecast inventory needs effectively. Conduct regular audits of vehicle stock to maintain accuracy and compliance with company standards. Develop and implement efficient inventory management practices to optimize vehicle availability. Provide insights and analysis on stock-related issues to senior management. Lead and train the vehicle stock team to uphold high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and receipt of vehicular inventory.

Demonstrable experience in inventory management or stock control, preferably within the automotive industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and produce reports. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. A detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. Experience with automotive stock management systems will be an advantage. Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to vehicle inventory management. Certification in project management or inventory control is a plus.
