Our design team is currently seeking an innovative and commercially savvy Footwear Designer to spearhead the design and creation of the K-Way footwear collection. In close collaboration with the Buying, Quality Assurance, and supplier teams, you will craft unique, on-brand footwear that aligns with customer expectations and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design seasonal footwear ranges - Investigate consumer, market, and trend insights to guide product development - Formulate design concepts, color palettes, and technical specifications - Partner with suppliers for product development, refinement, and commercialization - Guarantee products meet brand standards for quality and fit - Assist with seasonal range reviews and product presentations
Requirements
- A relevant design qualification is advantageous - 4-5 years of experience in footwear or product design (preferred) - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office - Strong knowledge of footwear construction and manufacturing - Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
