Our client in the FMCG sector within Gauteng is looking for an experienced Instrumentation Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of automated production systems. This is an opportunity for a qualified and skilled Instrumentation Technician with comprehensive expertise in instrumentation and hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Duties: - Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on instrumentation. - Address breakdowns and pinpoint instrumentation-related issues. - Calibrate and maintain process measurement and control equipment. - Troubleshoot sensors, transmitters, control valves, and associated devices. - Assist with troubleshooting and fault-finding for PLCs and automation systems. - Inspect instrumentation systems and identify potential failures. - Support the commissioning and installation of new instrumentation. - Aid in process control enhancements and equipment upgrades. - Maintain calibration schedules and technical records. - Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to reduce downtime. - Investigate recurring faults and assist with corrective actions. - Adhere to all relevant safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Minimum Requirements: - Matric - Instrumentation Trade Test Level 3 - 3-5 Years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician in the FMCG industry - Strong expertise in industrial instrumentation and control systems - Proficiency in PLCs, SCADA, or related automation systems - Practical experience in fault-finding and calibration - Ability to interpret instrumentation and electrical drawings - Understanding of process control principles - Technical skills
