Position Overview Status Staffing is currently recruiting for a dynamic and customer-oriented Retail Sales Intern to join our team in Cape Town. The selected individual will play a key role in customer support, sales promotion, order processing, and the delivery of superior service, contributing to the store’s overall success. The ideal candidate should possess a proven background in internal sales or customer service, outstanding communication skills, and a keen interest in creating exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements - Minimum of three years of experience in internal sales or customer service. - At least three years of retail or shop floor experience in a similar environment. - Essential: Matric certification. - Clean credit record. - Demonstrated history of achieving sales targets and delivering results. - Self-motivated, proactive, and independent with strong team collaboration skills. - Professional and well-groomed appearance. - High level of pride in work and personal presentation. - Exceptional communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities. - Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. - Neat and tidy with a friendly, helpful, and positive demeanor. - Proficient in Word, email, and internet use.

Responsibilities - Expand the retail customer base and manage individual budget growth. - Actively assist walk-in customers. - Handle telephone orders professionally and ensure accurate order fulfillment. - Ensure all products are neatly displayed and correctly positioned. - Maintain cleanliness in the workstation and assigned areas. - Oversee the appearance and condition of products and the assigned workspace. - Daily ordering and updating of stock as required. - Conduct stock counts as needed. - Ensure product pricing and codes are visible. - Effectively arrange and merchandise products. - Adhere to company procedures and policies.
