**Position:** Technical Sales Specialist – Heat Pumps and Solar Water Heating
**Location:** Cape Town
**Salary Range:** R25,000 – R45,000 per month
**Key Responsibilities:** - Transform customer inquiries into successful sales and manage high-value quotations. - Establish and nurture relationships with plumbers, installers, contractors, and resellers. - Expand existing accounts through repeat business and strategic upselling. - Meet monthly sales targets and KPIs; actively oversee your CRM pipeline. - Offer technical advice on heat pump and solar water heating systems. - Collaborate with management to identify market opportunities and stay updated on industry trends. - Participate in pricing strategies, sales tactics, and process enhancements, while enhancing customer engagement.
**Essential Requirements:** - Matric along with a relevant diploma or qualification in sales, business, or a technical field. - Over five years of experience in technical, internal, or trade sales within solar, heat pumps, plumbing, electrical, or renewable energy sectors. - Proven track record in wholesale/distribution and sales targets achievement. - Extensive B2B experience with plumbers, contractors, installers, and resellers. - Solid technical knowledge of products and ability to sell solutions. - Familiarity with CRM systems, quoting tools, or ERP/accounting software. - Good grasp of pricing, margins, and upselling strategies. - Experience in improving sales processes or contributing to strategic planning. - Fluent in English and Afrikaans; own a reliable vehicle; self-motivated and confident.
