**Role Purpose**

The Director of Store Process Engineering & Systems Management will spearhead strategic initiatives in the design and implementation of business processes and technology systems for the Retail Division. The role emphasizes optimising store operations, enhancing customer experiences, streamlining inventory management, and ensuring seamless system integration. The individual will drive continuous enhancements, maximise ROI, and foster innovation across retail operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

• **Strategic Process & Systems Engineering:** Establish and uphold an integrated business process and technology framework aligned with the Retail Division’s strategic goals. - **Commercial Value & ROI Management:** Create business cases, oversee technology investments, manage programme budgets, and track ROI and retail price index (RPI) value realisation. - **Programme Governance:** Implement programme management, risk management, governance, and deployment standards to ensure the successful rollout of retail technology solutions. - **Retail Innovation & Continuous Improvement:** Investigate cutting-edge retail technologies and industry practices to boost store productivity, automate processes, and enhance omnichannel capabilities. - **Change Leadership:** Oversee the implementation of changes across store operations, monitor system adoption, resolve operational challenges, and maintain compliance with established processes. - **Customer-Centric Operations:** Integrate customer-centric principles into store processes and systems to elevate service delivery, customer satisfaction, and overall performance. - **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Collaborate with executive leadership, IT, Retail Operations, Finance, and other key stakeholders to deliver comprehensive business solutions. - **Performance Management:** Set performance metrics, monitor benefits realisation, and ensure accountability for agreed business and team goals.

**Minimum Qualifications**

• A Degree or Higher Diploma in fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Systems, Retail Management, or Operations Management. - 10–12 years’ experience in multi-store retail operations, IT architecture, enterprise business process engineering, and retail systems management. - Demonstrated success in translating business strategies into integrated business processes and technology solutions. - Proven experience in developing commercial business cases, financial modelling, and measuring ROI. - Experience in managing complex, multi-stream programmes and handling cross-functional stakeholder relationships. - Strong understanding of retail enterprise platforms including POS, ERP/SAP, mobile solutions, and omnichannel systems.
