We seek someone who takes pride in maintaining superior store standards, ensuring product availability, and fostering robust relationships with store staff.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Merchandiser, your role will be pivotal in bringing brands to life within the store by:

• Guaranteeing that the right products are stocked, displayed, and positioned to attract customers. - Conducting stock counts, identifying replenishment needs, and drawing stock per standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Creating and maintaining top-notch product displays in alignment with company merchandising standards. - Checking product quality, ensuring stock rotation, and verifying pricing to keep shelves in prime condition. - Keeping shelves and back-up storage areas clean, organized, and clutter-free. - Implementing merchandising activities according to the cycle brief and completing scheduled store visits. - Building and maintaining positive relationships with store managers, customers, and shoppers. - Staying updated on product knowledge, promotions, and brand activities. - Identifying opportunities for enhanced product visibility and additional displays. - Monitoring and reporting out-of-stock products to management. - Maintaining accurate records of merchandising activities, store metrics, and competitor activity. - Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally, escalating issues as needed. - Submitting required documentation on time, including Proof of Delivery (POD), new account opening documents, and trading term agreements. - Taking responsibility for company assets, including vehicles, laptops, and handheld devices.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

• Matric (Grade 12). - At least 12 months’ experience in an FMCG merchandising environment. - Basic knowledge of spirits. - A valid Code B driver's license. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - A vibrant, energetic, and customer-focused personality. - Strong attention to detail and the ability to uphold high store standards. - Willingness to work at various retail stores in Cape Town CBD and surrounding areas.
