The Process Leader is a key member of the Production team responsible for leading a team, driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and achieving production targets. The role involves ensuring quality assurance, conducting maintenance and inspections, manufacturing and processing products, and managing staff to optimize performance and meet objectives. To be successful, the Process Leader must possess a Grade 12 qualification, relevant experience, fluent Business English skills, and intermediate computer literacy skills.

**Requirements**
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- A Grade 12 or equivalent National Qualifications Framework (NQF) 4 qualification - Relevant experience in applying job-related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required level - Fluent Business English skills - Intermediate computer literacy skills - Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

**Duties and Responsibilities**
As a Process Leader, you will be responsible for:
**Ensuring Quality Assurance**
- Applying quality assurance principles to the process and ensuring the integrity of the product - Controlling inputs and outputs of the manufacturing and/or packaging process - Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are in place - Maintaining good housekeeping practices (5S)
**Conducting First-Line Maintenance and Inspections**
- Ensuring the correct use of equipment
**Manufacturing and Processing Products**
- Following the correct Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) - Ensuring correct cleaning in place (CIP)
**Managing Staff**
- Ensuring optimal utilization of staff - Applying consistent discipline - Training and developing staff - Conducting meetings and ensuring effective communication with all staff members - Liaising and communicating with management in all departments - Providing leadership and training to staff members within the department - Setting objectives, managing, and measuring the performance of the team
