BRIEF DESCRIPTION:-
The Road Worker is responsible for maintaining the province's road infrastructure by performing tasks such as patching road surfaces, clearing vegetation, and erecting road signs. The ideal candidate should have a Grade 10 certificate, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of occupational health and safety principles. They will carry out a variety of road maintenance activities, including cleaning drainage systems and removing rubbish, with on-the-job training provided.

**Requirements:**

- Rendering patch work to repair damaged road surfaces * Clearing bushes and other vegetation from the road * Erecting road signs to enhance road safety and visibility * Cleaning drainage systems to prevent water accumulation and erosion * Removing rubbish and debris from the road to maintain a safe and clean environment
**Additional Responsibilities:**
As a Road Worker, you will also be required to perform any other road maintenance activities as and when necessary. This may include participating in road inspections, reporting defects or hazards, and assisting with other road-related tasks.
