Status Staffing is currently seeking a Retail Supervisor for a client in the leather retail industry based in Cape Town. We are looking for an experienced professional with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in the leather sector, coupled with three years of retail or shop floor experience in a leather merchant setting. A Matric (Grade 12) qualification is mandatory, and further tertiary education is viewed favorably. The successful candidate must possess a solid understanding of retail sales and marketing systems and should be adept at leading and motivating a team while enhancing performance and customer service standards.

REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum of 3+ years of supervisory experience within the leather industry. - Minimum of 3+ years’ retail or shop floor experience in a leather merchant environment. - Matric (Grade 12) qualification required. - Tertiary education is an advantage. - Strong grasp of sales and marketing systems in a retail context. - Proven track record in delivering results with a history of success. - Self-motivated, proactive, independent yet a strong team player. - Excellent time management and organizational skills. - Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team effectively. - High level of emotional intelligence. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. - Valid driver’s license and own vehicle preferred.
