About the Position
Apex Group is currently looking for a highly skilled tax accountant eager to advance their expertise in a demanding and dynamic role. This position will report directly to Apex’s Global Head of Tax, based in London.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid grasp of corporate tax compliance issues and substantial experience in overseeing international tax filings.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Collaborating with external tax advisors to oversee the group’s international tax compliance obligations, guaranteeing precision and compliance with changing tax regulations • Ensuring precise and timely tax reporting under IFRS/UK GAAP and contributing to the group’s consolidated reporting • Managing the group’s tax cash flow position and ensuring accurate tax payment reflections in plans and budgets • Preparing and reviewing VAT computations for select jurisdictions within the group • Participating in the preparation of local transfer pricing documentation • Working closely with the Director of Compliance to uphold the group’s tax risk management framework
Candidate Requirements
• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or equivalent) with over 5 years of professional experience in tax • Profound knowledge of corporate income taxes and experience in international tax matters • Familiarity with IFRS tax provisioning • Exceptional communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively across finance, legal, and operational teams • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
