A premier oil & gas services firm is looking for a Director of Finance to be based in Cape Town. In this senior-level position, you will direct regional financial operations in various African and global markets, enhancing financial performance, reinforcing governance, and facilitating business expansion.
Responsibilities
• Formulate and lead the financial strategy, budget planning, forecasting, and financial projections for the division. • Supervise financial reporting and performance evaluation across numerous countries, entities, joint ventures, and projects. • Champion enhancements in cash flow, working capital, debtor periods, and financial reporting timelines. • Guarantee robust financial controls, regulatory compliance, and governance across international operations. • Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to boost profitability and overall business performance. • Guide and nurture regional finance teams, encompassing country finance managers and external service providers. • Manage audit needs, financial systems, and process optimization initiatives.
Requirements
• A CA(SA) certification, with 5–8 years of post-articles experience. • Extensive experience in commercial finance and financial management. • Familiarity with international operations, cross-border transactions, and multi-country reporting. • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, working capital management, and financial controls. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and operational teams. • Prior experience with Big Four firms is a plus. • A willingness and capability to travel internationally.
