Primary Responsibilities: Sales Generation & Consultative Selling: - Meet and exceed monthly sales targets in retail and trade categories - Deliver personalized design consultations to customers, guiding them through spatial layout planning, fabric selection, timber finishes, and customized furniture options - Systematically follow up on open quotes, customer inquiries, and pending trade projects to boost sales conversion
Trade & Decorator Client Relations: - Cultivate and maintain relationships with interior designers, decorators, architects, and hospitality buyers in the Paarden Eiland design district - Process trade applications, issue project quotations, order fabric swatches, and manage delivery schedules for design professionals - Keep a current client database for regular outreach on new collection launches and trade promotions
Showroom Operations & Floor Standards: - Maintain impeccable showroom presentation, styled vignettes, price tags, and fabric sample swatches - Accurately record quotes, sales orders, lay-bys, and payments via the retail POS/ERP system (e.g., OMNI) - Coordinate with logistics, manufacturing, and warehouse teams to provide customers with precise delivery timelines and status updates
