**Job Overview**
We are seeking a Store Operations Supervisor for our prestigious Spitz store, known for its luxurious and renowned brands like Carvela, Gianni Chiarini, Lacoste, Nina Roche, and Tosoni. Our store continues to elevate premium fashion with iconic scents from Carvela Donna, Bello body sprays, and Verve by Kurt Geiger.
**Role Description**
As the Store Operations Supervisor, you will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our retail store, maintaining the high standards of our brand. If you thrive in a dynamic, upscale environment where precision and customer service excellence are paramount, this role is for you.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Retail Administration & Compliance**
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures. - Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly administrative checks with precision. - Track and resolve operational issues, including stock discrepancies, maintenance, and cash variances. - Manage banking processes, prepare cash for collection, and investigate any discrepancies. - Process manual transactions when necessary.
**Stock Control & Inventory Accuracy**
- Train and support staff on effective stock management practices. - Oversee daily stock management processes to minimize losses. - Investigate and resolve stock variances to maintain inventory integrity. - Coordinate and oversee weekly and quarterly stock counts for accuracy. - Conduct weekly shoe pairing exercises and manage write-offs responsibly.
**Leadership & Store Operations Support**
- Act as the Acting Store Manager as required, ensuring smooth store operations. - Maintain high standards of customer service and build strong customer relationships. - Align staffing and planning with store requirements. - Enforce store policies and handle disciplinary procedures when necessary. - Foster a collaborative and excellence-driven team culture.
**Customer Service Excellence**
- Embed a customer-first mindset throughout the store. - Strengthen both internal and external customer relationships. - Provide ongoing coaching and training to enhance service standards. - Lead by example in delivering exceptional service and professionalism.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
**Experience:**
- At least 4 years of retail experience, preferably in fashion and footwear. - At least 1 year of experience in administration management.
**Education and Skills:**
- Matric / Grade 12 (essential). - Tertiary Retail Qualification (advantageous).
**Additional Requirements:**
- Expertise in stock and cash management. - Strong adherence to retail administrative processes. - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. - Strong relationship-building skills with staff and customers. - A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment.
