Position Overview: The Controller for Vehicle Stock at Motus Corporation is responsible for the comprehensive management of all vehicle inventory within the dealership. This role involves tracking the movement of vehicles, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with sales and service teams, and performing routine audits to ensure stock integrity.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Efficiently oversee the incoming and outgoing vehicle stock - Maintain precise inventory records and locations - Collaborate with sales and service departments to meet customer and dealership needs - Perform regular stock audits to verify accuracy - Provide management with regular reports on stock levels, trends, and discrepancies - Swiftly identify and resolve any stock-related issues - Adopt and enforce best practices for inventory management - Ensure timely capture of purchase transactions - Verify supplier credentials - Manage vehicle procurement - Issue invoices for vehicles - Generate and submit cheques - Manage outgoing correspondence with suppliers regarding outstanding invoices - Ensure vehicle costing is accurately represented in department managers' cost sheets - Ensure all necessary documentation is available in deal files - Support the stock controller in sales reporting - Daily management of debtor’s allocation and updates - Keep the work area clean and orderly - Report any financial deviations to appropriate personnel - Conduct weekly stock counts of all vehicles - Maintain inventories of vehicles being procured - Update retail stock lists - Control the Demo Fleet, updating reports and maintaining records - Manage license and registration for new and used vehicles

Qualifications and Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is required - Proven experience in inventory management, preferably within the automotive sector - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential - Excellent organizational and communication abilities are necessary - Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications - Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
