Position Overview We are in search of a dependable, organized, and hands-on Store Manager to effectively manage the daily operations of a busy stores function within an electrical infrastructure and renewable energy project environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for stock control, materials, tools, and equipment management while overseeing stores personnel and ensuring that projects receive the correct materials on time.

Key Responsibilities To manage daily stores operations, you will be required to perform the following tasks:

• Receive, store, issue, and dispatch stock. - Maintain accurate stock records, inventory reports, and supporting documentation. - Control electrical materials, tools, equipment, consumables, and project-related stock. - Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and suppliers to ensure materials are available when required. - Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly. - Supervise stores personnel and maintain strong housekeeping standards. - Ensure compliance with stores procedures and health and safety requirements. - Implement effective systems for stock security, traceability, and accountability. - Assist with stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of variances.

Minimum Requirements To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Possess a Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. - Have relevant stores, warehouse, or inventory management experience. - Experience within the electrical, construction, engineering, or infrastructure sector is advantageous. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of stock-control, receiving, issuing, and inventory-administration procedures. - Be computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and stock-management systems. - Understand material requisitions, delivery notes, and supplier documentation. - Possess strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills. - Possess a valid driver's license. - Be willing to travel as required by project needs. - Have a forklift license and knowledge of electrical materials is advantageous.
