Position Overview Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Engineer will oversee the engineering and technical aspects of projects from initiation through completion. This role involves planning, executing, and delivering projects within budget and deadline, while maintaining high-quality standards. The candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, administrators, and document controllers, providing technical guidance to the project team. Responsibilities include developing project plans, schedules, milestones, cost estimates and budgets; reviewing and approving engineering drawings, plans, and specifications; identifying and resolving technical issues; implementing quality control processes; monitoring fabrication and assembly of equipment; procuring and managing equipment and materials; allocating resources; identifying project risks and developing mitigation and contingency plans; compiling Quality Control Plans, project Databooks, and OEM equipment manuals; ensuring all materials and buyouts have necessary documentation; overseeing budget vs. actual spend and managing budget and contract changes; and reporting progress, delays, and recovery plans to clients and stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field - 3-5 years of engineering experience - Proficiency in Inventor, Solid Edge, and/or SolidWorks - Strong MS Office and MS Project skills - Experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality and SHERQ requirements
Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management - Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA
