A premier OEM located in Benoni is seeking a meticulous QC Inspector to bolster their Quality team. This role is ideal for an individual who possesses a keen eye for detail, expertise in measurement tools, and a solid understanding of engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that every part produced meets the highest standards of quality and precision.

The successful applicant will be required to perform a variety of critical tasks within the Quality Control process. Inspecting parts at various stages, from first-article to final, is a primary responsibility. Utilizing a range of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators, the QC Inspector will ensure all components are within specified tolerances. The role also involves verifying weld quality, checking for proper squareness, hole positions, bend angles, and coating finishes. Additionally, the Inspector will be tasked with recording inspection results in logs or the Quality Management System (QMS) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and flagging non-conforming parts for red-tagging and quarantine. The role also necessitates maintaining measuring equipment in a clean, calibrated, and operational state.

To excel in this position, candidates must have a Matric certificate or a qualification in Quality Control, though a technical course in QC is highly advantageous.
