About the Role Seeking a Branch Marketing Specialist who embodies responsibility, leadership, and operational excellence. This position demands a proactive individual who can step into a leadership role when the Branch Manager is absent. The ideal candidate balances people, performance, and processes, demonstrating strong ownership and adaptability.

Responsibilities - Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring optimal workflow and adherence to company policies. - Collaborate with the Branch Manager to monitor sales, expenses, and budgets. - Take charge of stock management, including ordering, merchandising, and stock control. - Manage the animal feed store, including general administration and fuel management. - Train and develop staff, providing excellent customer service. - Ensure compliance with safety and legislative requirements. - Drive marketing initiatives and promotions to boost branch performance. - Handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Qualifications - Matric/NQF4 qualification required. - Advanced tertiary qualification is advantageous. - Proven experience in agricultural retail, specifically in stock control, stock management, and loss minimization. - Prior experience in irrigation systems, pump sizing, selection, and irrigation/garden layout design. - Familiarity with hardware and construction industry, including customer service and quoting from building plans. - Experience in selling animal health products and veterinary medicines, with knowledge of AFCASA and related products. - Experience in selling and storing animal feed. - Valid Code 08 drivers' license. - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Willingness to learn and adapt, with the ability to work after hours. - Strong communication and teamwork skills with a customer-first approach. - A proactive problem-solver with a passion for serving customers in the agricultural sector.
