Manage and oversee the operations of a packhouse, ensuring efficient fruit packing processes, adherence to quality standards, attainment of production targets, and seamless day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Possession of a Grade 12 certificate or Matriculation 2. Additional studies are considered advantageous 3. Minimum of five years of extensive experience in packhouse management 4. Proficiency in fruit packing, particularly citrus, soft citrus, and mango varieties 5. Familiarity with packhouse operations, production processes, and quality control measures 6. Experience with electronic sizing equipment such as MAF Roda, Greefa, or Compac is advantageous 7. Proficiency in computer literacy, with a strong command of MS Office and Outlook 8. Fluency in both Afrikaans and English languages 9. Ability to work long hours and overtime as required 10. Multilingual skills, possessing an additional language will be beneficial
