Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications to determine materials, measurements, and methods - Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble timber and building materials - Construct wall frames, roof framing, partitions, and staircases - Lay sub-floors and floorboards - Install fascia boards, cladding, door and window frames, skirting, architraves, and cabinetry - Repair and renovate damaged timber structures and fittings - Verify finished work against specifications and building standards - Collaborate with supervisors, builders, and other trades to complete projects on schedule

Experience & Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Carpentry (Red Seal or equivalent) - Experience in residential and/or commercial construction - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings - Proficiency with carpentry hand and power tools - Experience in timber framing and concrete formwork is advantageous - Possession of a driverās license and Working at Heights certification is beneficial - Excellent spoken and written English proficiency - Depending on the role and candidate, an English language test, a skills assessment, and/or a practical workplace assessment may be required
