We are on the lookout for a seasoned and outcome-oriented Distribution Centre Manager to steer our Mokopane Distribution Centre. The ideal candidate will oversee all operational, logistical, stock, and personnel management tasks, ensuring superior service delivery and adherence to company standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee overall performance and efficiency of the Mokopane Distribution Centre, ensuring timely delivery of stock to all retail outlets in Limpopo, maintaining an 85% on-time delivery rate. - Manage the distribution centre fleet and optimize route planning for daily distribution of 70–100 tons of product via a fleet of 4–6 delivery vehicles. - Ensure effective stock control through regular stock counts, minimizing losses, expired stock, and slow-moving inventory, particularly chemicals and pesticides. - Handle all human resource functions within the business unit, including leave planning, performance management, discipline, and employee relations. - Drive operational excellence and contribute to the achievement of the organization's strategic goals. - Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently. - Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and exceed business targets. - Prepare and submit weekly reports to Head Office, detailing operational performance and potential risks. - Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification. - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehouse management. - Proven ability to manage a stock component of approximately R45 million per month. - Sound understanding of agri-business stock requirements and inventory management, including product ranges, seasonal fluctuations, and needs analysis. - Experience managing and leading a diverse workforce of 30–40 employees. - Proven logistics management experience within a distribution or operational environment. - Willingness to work after hours when necessary to meet operational demands. - Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
