Our client, a reputable fruit exporter, is looking for someone who has a strong interest in the fruit industry. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the seamless and efficient transportation of fresh fruit from the packing facility to international markets.

The ideal candidate should possess at least 3 years of experience in the fruit export sector, along with a Diploma or Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the complete logistics process for fruit exports. - Act as a liaison between producers, suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, cold storage facilities, transport providers, and export agents. - Schedule and monitor container bookings, loading schedules, and vessel departures. - Ensure adherence to export regulations. - Track shipments and proactively address any delays, deviations, or logistical challenges. - Document shipping instructions, commercial invoices, packing lists, and necessary certificates. - Maintain precise logistics records and generate comprehensive reports. - Collaborate with all relevant parties to facilitate smooth supply chain operations. - Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Minimum Requirements

• A Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Commerce, or a related field. - A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the fruit export or fresh produce industry. - A thorough understanding of export procedures, shipping documentation, and cold-chain logistics. - Experience working with international customers and service providers. - Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel.
