We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a prominent FMCG company based in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will oversee and direct the Engineering Department, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime for plant equipment, machinery, and utilities. The role requires effective management of the department, adherence to procedures, and achievement of all set targets.
The successful individual will also be responsible for managing the department’s annual budget and driving ongoing improvements in equipment efficiency, cost-saving initiatives, risk management, asset maintenance, and overall operational excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Degree in Engineering - Minimum of 5 years of relevant Engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity - Government Certificate of Competency (GCC)
