Vine Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Machine Operator and Monitor for an opportunity within a reputable Paarl-based business engaged in retail and contract packaging operations.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a dependable individual to manage and oversee an individual packaging machine. The successful candidate will ensure the machine operates smoothly, maintain consistent production levels, and uphold product quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and supervise an assigned packaging machine throughout the production cycle. - Ensure the machine functions correctly and that all products meet the required quality standards. - Monitor the flow of products, packaging materials, and finished goods, reporting any shortages or irregularities. - Make routine operational adjustments as permitted and trained. - Identify and promptly report any machine stoppages, faults, or production issues to the supervisor or maintenance personnel. - Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe machine and work area. - Adhere to production instructions, quality checks, and workplace safety protocols. - Document production information and report any output issues or problems as required. - Assist with packing, material handling, and other production tasks when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
