We are currently seeking a Financial Manager for a prominent manufacturing company located in Philippi (Cape Town). This is a permanent position in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

The ideal candidate should exhibit robust analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, the role demands effective communication abilities, proficiency in managing deadlines and multiple priorities, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Key responsibilities will encompass (but are not limited to):

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports * Managing project costing, job cards, and profitability tracking * Supporting budgeting and forecasting * Performing bank, supplier, customer, and inter-company reconciliations * Overseeing accounts payable and receivable * Ensuring compliance with IFRS and SARS requirements (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax) * Assisting with audit processes * Maintaining the fixed asset register and calculating depreciation * Conducting cash flow planning and financial analysis * Collaborating closely with site managers and quantity surveyors * Implementing internal controls and general financial administration * Handling all other related duties.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field • Completed SAICA articles are highly desirable, though not mandatory • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role • Proficient in financial systems and reporting tools • Valid driver’s license
