Job Summary: Join our accounting firm as a SAIPA Accountant for an exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities: - Conduct full monthly bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients. - Handle statutory returns including VAT calculations and submissions. - Reconcile control accounts. - Manage payroll functions and EMP 501 reconciliations. - Prepare comprehensive working papers. - Compile accurate financial statements. - Oversee taxation and tax administration. - Liaise with SARS for compliance. - Perform general administrative duties. - Coordinate with clients and manage office responsibilities.
Qualifications: - Completion of SAIPA Articles or currently pursuing them. - Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent degree is mandatory. - Demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent time management and prioritization skills. - Proficiency in Sage, Xero, IQ, CaseWare, GreatSoft, Word, and Excel is advantageous. - Self-motivated and adaptable with strong communication skills. - Fully bilingual. - Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively. - Meticulous with a strong focus on detail. - Must possess a valid driver’s license.
