Our client, a leading organization, is on the lookout for a skilled Mid-Level Software Developer to join their development team in Pretoria on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in full-stack development and possess a knack for using advanced AI coding tools to boost the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize, create, and upkeep software applications in both backend and full-stack contexts. - Develop resilient, scalable, and maintainable solutions using contemporary programming techniques. - Employ AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor as part of the software development process. - Design and implement RESTful APIs. - Collaborate with team members to grasp requirements and provide effective technical solutions. - Identify, debug, and fix software issues. - Participate in version-controlled development utilizing Git. - Manage relational databases and enhance data-driven application functionalities. - Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development methodologies and solutions.

Requirements: - 4–7 years of extensive software development experience. - Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, NodeJS, TypeScript, Python. - Experience in backend or full-stack development. - Hands-on experience in integrating AI coding tools into the development workflow. - A relevant university degree in Computer Science or a similar field. - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities. - Strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team. - Self-motivated, diligent, and proactive in the realm of software development.
