**Position Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Cloud/Platform Engineer to manage and develop applications within the AWS ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and CI/CD tools.

**Education:**

• AWS Associate level certification or substantial years of experience. - Preferred Kubernetes Application Developer certification or equivalent experience.

**Experience:**

• Intermediate to Senior level. - Proven experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and AWS applications. - Expertise in Kubernetes Administration, including Ingress, networking, and RBAC. - Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDKS. - Knowledge of Kubernetes GitOps practices using ArgoCD, Flux, Helm, or Kustomize. - Monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch. - Experience with Linux. - Understanding of distributed systems and architectures. - Experience building platform APIs, automation, tooling, and internal developer platforms.

**Key Requirements:**

• AWS: EKS, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Fargate, Lambda, and CloudFront. - Familiarity with AWS Well Architected Frameworks. - Observability and monitoring: Xray, CloudWatch, Open Tracing, and Grafana. - Kubernetes/EKS experience. - Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD tools, including AWS DevOps Tools and Jenkins. - Knowledge of cloud-native toolsets such as Helm and Kustomize. - Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Go, Java, and JavaScript. - CI/CD with Jenkins pipelines as code or similar, including GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. - Kubernetes administration. - Enhancement of monitoring, observability, and alerting using SLO, SLI, and SLA principles. - Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Crossplane. - Release management and oversight. - SRE practices including incident response, automation, reliability, and monitoring.
