The role involves overseeing the complete production process to ensure adherence to specifications and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at every stage. The Production Manager will ensure all customer product requirements, including order quantity and quality, are met.

Key Performance Outputs

• Ensure accurate and efficient production planning. • Collaborate with technical and maintenance departments to maintain optimal performance of the production function. • Optimize the use of production resources. • Ensure proper functioning of manufacturing equipment. • Lead and manage various production teams to meet customer expectations. • Supervise, mentor, and motivate the respective teams. • Maintain employee conduct in accordance with the company’s Code of Behavior and take appropriate action for deviations. • Conduct and lead regular team meetings (“Let’s Talk”) at level 3. • Maintain all necessary documentation for due compliance. • Ensure all orders are produced in full. • Maintain all lines at required efficiency rates. • Comply with all relevant Amaro Foods policy requirements. • Adhere to necessary Occupational Health and Safety requirements. • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, allergen control, housekeeping, and pest control. • Participate in personal hygiene checks. • Live the brand by embodying our core values.

Technical Skills and Experience

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Production Management. • Five years of production management experience. • Six to eight years of experience in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. • Understanding of food manufacturing and production. • Knowledge of technical processes and principles is advantageous. • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Methodologies is advantageous.
