Job Description
Are you a proactive leader with a keen interest in stock management, agricultural commodities, and operational excellence? Join our dynamic team to oversee warehouse and yard operations while enhancing sales and customer service standards. The ideal candidate will manage stock in warehouses and yards, ensuring precise loading and offloading while maintaining high housekeeping standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or NQF 4 - Relevant tertiary qualifications are advantageous - Previous experience in agricultural warehousing is recommended - Knowledge of agricultural commodities (Animal Feed, Fertilizer, Building Materials, etc.) - Strong focus on housekeeping and accurate stock management - Willingness to undergo continuous training - Proficiency in Afrikaans and English is recommended
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for stock loading and offloading - Market and sell agricultural commodities - Maintain optimal stock control and ensure proper stock rotation - Conduct daily inspections to uphold premises neatness and standards - Lead and support a team to achieve operational goals - Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock integrity - Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures - Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
