Position Overview For Bidvest Facilities Management, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Artisan HVAC to join our team. The primary responsibility is to ensure the timely and high-quality maintenance of air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and water reticulation systems, aligning with business strategies and client service standards.

Key Responsibilities Implement equipment service specifications in line with client and company requirements. Install and commission air-conditioning and water reticulation equipment according to specifications. Perform regular maintenance on air-conditioning and water reticulation equipment on a schedule, addressing both preventative and emergency issues. Conduct facility inspections, identifying potential risks, and report for necessary rectifications. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, service level agreements (SLA), and job plans during preventative or emergency fault rectification. Maintain the quality of work and ensure timely completion of all field requests. Provide regular feedback to supervisors and clients regarding operational restoration.

Qualifications and Skills To be considered for this role, applicants must possess: A Matric certificate (Grade 12) N3 - N6 in Mechanical Engineering HVAC Trade-Test in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Minimum of 5 years' experience in the artesian field Valid South African driver’s license 5 years relevant experience in air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation equipment maintenance, and digital control systems. Minimum 5 years experience in trade maintenance of air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation equipment, and water reticulation systems. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook (Intermediate level). Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act).
