Raizcorp is in search of an experienced business professional with exceptional commercial insight to join our team as a business mentor. Your role will involve guiding a diverse group of entrepreneurs in various aspects of their business operations, including strategy, sales, marketing, finance, and personal development. This full-time, salaried position focuses on mentoring rather than consulting; you’ll empower entrepreneurs through a structured approach and continuous support rather than doing the work for them.

Previous coaching experience is not mandatory; Raizcorp will provide the necessary training and resources. We require your deep business expertise, an empathetic approach towards entrepreneurs, and a strong motivation to make a difference.

Responsibilities Conduct individual coaching sessions and business simulations. Lead group learning initiatives based on a proven curriculum designed to enhance skills, build capabilities, and improve business outcomes. Manage a defined group of entrepreneurs, monitoring their progress in revenue, profitability, and personal growth over time. Integrate insights from various disciplines (strategy, sales, marketing, finance, people) to help entrepreneurs make comprehensive, future-oriented decisions. Stay informed on economic trends and regulatory changes affecting entrepreneurs, and incorporate these insights into coaching sessions. Collaborate with other mentors in team and one-on-one settings.

Qualifications A versatile business professional with 10 to 15+ years of experience in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. Having owned businesses is a must. Proven expertise in strategy, sales, marketing, and finance, with the ability to connect the dots and advise on trade-offs. High emotional intelligence and genuine empathy for the entrepreneurial experience; mature, accountable, and non-judgmental. A clear communicator who is organized, systematic, proactive, and reliable in meeting deadlines. Proficient in technology and systems, including Microsoft 365/Office and learner management systems. A tertiary qualification in commerce (MBA or master’s-level degree is advantageous). Driver’s licence and personal car required.
