Position: Campus Security Officer (Grade 5) x3

Department: Campus Protection Unit

The Campus Protection Unit is inviting suitably qualified candidates to join our team and contribute to our mission of ensuring campus safety.

Main Objectives

Deliver an extensive security service for the university's property, staff, students, and other stakeholders. Secure university property and assets, fostering a safe and secure environment. Monitor and report on incidents as they occur.

Requirements

Grade 12 (matric) with at least one (1) year of relevant experience, including: - Previous security experience Registered as a Security Officer Grade C under the Private Security Industry Regulations Act no 56 of 2001. Special Events certification is an advantage. No prior criminal convictions. Must present a Police Clearance Certificate not older than two (2) months before the appointment date. Advantageous: Previous university and/or college campus experience. A valid driver’s license is beneficial.

Remuneration per annum (Grade 05): Basic Pensionable Salary per annum: R191,212. Cost to Company per annum (Approximately): R278,869.
