A dynamic manufacturing firm is in search of an engaged Cost Accountant / Inventory Controller to oversee product costing, inventory precision, production reconciliations, and stock management.

Key Duties: - Ensure precise inventory records and uphold the integrity of inventory and production systems. - Manage and verify all inventory movements. - Execute product costing, cost analyses, and standard-cost reviews. - Reconcile production batches, recipes, yields, and stock usage. - Evaluate production margins, losses, wastage, and yield variances. - Identify and resolve inventory and costing inconsistencies. - Organize, plan, and supervise monthly stock counts. - Align physical stock with system records. - Innovate and refine inventory-control methods. - Support costing and inventory controls for new products and ranges. - Guarantee accurate production data entry into the operating system. - Collaborate closely with Production, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure accurate costing and stock information.

Minimum Qualifications: - Relevant qualification in Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, or Finance. - Experience in cost accounting, inventory control, or manufacturing accounting. - Proficient knowledge of product costing, standard costing, stock reconciliations, gross margins, production yields, and wastage. - Strong proficiency in Excel. - Familiarity with ERP, inventory, or production systems. - Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies. - Ability to confidently work with finance, production, and operational teams. - Prior experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or food production is highly desirable.
