Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Johannesburg - CBD
Job PurposeTo effectively manage customer collections by performing age analysis, credit control, and collections activities within the Property Management System to minimize arrears, maintain accurate customer accounts, and support debt recovery. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct age analysis by preparing and distributing aging reports, allocating payments, reconciling tenant accounts, and supporting building managers with account queries. Perform credit control by preparing demand and cancellation letters, reviewing rental deferment applications, and approving payment arrangements within delegated authority. Manage collections by updating system records, coordinating with legal and debt collection agents, following up on outstanding payments and queries, sending arrears reminders, and maintaining legal comment logs. Administer blacklisting and post-write-off processes by notifying ex-tenants of outstanding balances, supporting debt collector handovers, resolving account queries, issuing paid-up letters, and updating the Property Management System. Carry out ad hoc administrative duties as required.
