This is more than an accounting role, it's an opportunity to gain exposure across financial reporting, procurement, management accounting, compliance and operational finance while working alongside experienced finance leaders in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare journals, accruals, provisions, and month-end adjustmentsReview general ledger transactions, VAT, and financial allocationsSupport accounts payable, supplier payments, and procurement financeMaintain balance sheet reconciliations and financial schedulesPrepare monthly management accounts and variance analysisAssist with annual financial statements and reportingSupport VAT reconciliations, audits, and statutory complianceMaintain strong financial controls across multiple business unitsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and finance projectsIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, controls, and finance processesJob Experience and Skills: BCom Accounting, CIMA, CA(SA), or related accounting qualificationStrong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reportingExperience with accounts payable, VAT and reconciliationsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsERP or procurement system experience advantageousStrong understanding of IFRS and accounting principlesExperience working across multiple entities or business units beneficialExcellent analytical skills, attention to detail and stakeholder management abilityIf you're looking for a finance role that offers more than just month-end reporting, one where you'll gain exposure across procurement, reporting, compliance and business partnering within one of South Africa's leading hospitality groups, then we'd love to hear from you!
