Key duties involve forging strong connections with franchisees, enhancing store performance, and expanding the franchise network. An established automotive battery retail franchise network seeks a commercially driven Franchise Regional Director to bolster its operations within the Gauteng Inland region.
This dynamic role will encompass multi-store operational support, franchisee relationship management, training, and business development. You'll collaborate closely with business owners and store teams to enhance performance, uphold standards, and ensure successful new store openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with franchisees, conducting frequent store visits. - Drive sales, boost product adoption, and enhance overall operational performance. - Conduct store audits, oversee compliance, and follow up on corrective actions. - Provide training and coaching to franchisees and store teams on products, systems, and customer service. - Coordinate the setup of new stores, ensuring launch readiness and post-opening support. - Identify and develop new franchisees, locations, and growth opportunities. - Maintain accurate records, prepare performance reports, and suggest process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail, franchise operations, sales, operations management, or business development. - Demonstrated sales and business development expertise. - Experience in opening new stores, implementing operations, training, coaching, and conducting audits. - Franchise experience is highly desirable; multi-site retail experience is preferred. - Automotive, battery, FMCG, or related retail experience is advantageous. - A diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Retail Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and reporting tools. - Ability to analyze business performance and apply sound commercial principles. - Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. - Capability to influence business owners and store teams, address non-compliance, and manage multiple priorities. - Willingness to travel extensively across the Inland region.
