Objective: To foster strong partnerships, enhance store performance, and expand the franchise network.
We are seeking a proactive Franchise Area Manager to bolster and develop our Coastal franchise network within the automotive battery retail sector. This comprehensive role encompasses multi-store operational support, franchisee relationship management, training, and business growth initiatives. You will collaborate closely with business owners and store teams to elevate performance, uphold standards, and successfully initiate new store openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer robust support to franchisees through regular store visits and solid relationship building. - Drive sales, boost product uptake, and enhance store performance. - Conduct audits, oversee operational standards, and address compliance issues. - Train and mentor franchisees and staff on products, systems, and customer service. - Coordinate new store launches and provide post-launch support. - Identify and develop new franchise opportunities, locations, and territories. - Report on performance and suggest operational enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail, franchise operations, sales, operations management, or business development. - Proven track record in sales and business development. - Experience in store openings, operational implementation, training, and audits. - Franchise experience is highly beneficial; multi-site retail experience is preferred. - Automotive, battery, FMCG, or related retail experience is advantageous. - A diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Retail Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and reporting. - Ability to analyze business performance and apply sound commercial principles. - Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. - Capability to influence business owners and store teams, address non-compliance, and manage competing priorities. - Willingness to travel extensively across the Coastal region.
