Our client is a growing manufacturing and engineering conglomerate based in Johannesburg North, looking to appoint a commercially minded Group FP&A Manager. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll become a trusted business partner across multiple entities, helping shape commercial strategy through budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis. This is a highly visible role where your insights won't sit in a report, they'll help drive investment decisions, improve profitability and influence the future direction of the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead group budgeting and forecasting processesBuild financial models and scenario analysis for strategic planningAnalyse business performance, profitability, and key financial driversDeliver executive reporting, dashboards, and commercial insightsPartner with operational leaders to improve business performanceSupport pricing, margin optimisation, and investment decisionsConduct financial due diligence for strategic opportunitiesPresent financial recommendations to senior leadershipDrive continuous improvement across FP&A processes and reportingJob Experience and Skills: CIMA qualified preferred, alternatively a BCom Degree with completed Articles3 to 4 years' experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Financial Analysis or a similar roleManufacturing, engineering, construction or related industry experienceStrong experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial modellingAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to build modelsStrong commercial acumen with experience in variance analysis and profitability reportingExposure to financial due diligence and strategic business analysisExcellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skillsA commercially curious mindset with a passion for solving business problems through dataIf you're ready to stop reporting on yesterday's numbers and start influencing tomorrow's decisions, this is your opportunity to partner with executive leadership and make your mark where strategy meets finance!
