The successful applicant will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, driving sales, processing orders, and maintaining a high standard of service within the retail setting. The ideal candidate will possess substantial internal sales or customer service experience, exceptional communication skills, outstanding administrative abilities, and a proactive mindset with a strong commitment to delivering superior customer experiences.
Application Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years' experience in internal sales or customer service - Proven retail/shop floor experience in a similar industry - Matric certificate or equivalent - Excellent credit record - Strong results-oriented mindset with a proven track record in internal sales - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Professional appearance with a well-groomed appearance - Positive attitude and pride in personal and professional conduct - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Exceptional customer service skills, including problem-solving capabilities - Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills - Neat and tidy personal presentation - Friendly and helpful demeanor with a positive attitude - Proficient in the use of Word, email, and internet applications
Key Responsibilities: - Attract and expand the retail client base - Maintain and grow individual sales budgets - Provide proactive assistance to walk-in customers - Professionally handle telephone orders and ensure timely preparation for customers - Organize products neatly on shelves, hooks, or containers and ensure proper placement - Maintain a clean and tidy workstation and surrounding areas - Order and update stock daily as required - Conduct stock takes upon request - Ensure pricing and product codes are clearly visible at all times - Effectively arrange and merchandise products - Adhere to company procedures and policies related to the above responsibilities
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
