We are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Representative for our client based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The position demands a candidate with at least five years of experience in the sanitaryware sector, along with in-depth product knowledge and previous experience in retail showrooms. Candidates should possess robust sales skills, outstanding customer service abilities, and proficient computer and communication skills. The successful applicant must be available to work weekends and public holidays and must demonstrate exemplary time management, a commendable work ethic, and consistent attendance.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent BASIC SALARY: R5260.00 + Commission & Incentive Monthly START DATE: ASAP

REQUIREMENTS: - Matric - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sanitaryware industry - Extensive knowledge of sanitaryware products - Experience in a retail showroom setting - Exceptional customer service skills - Strong sales acumen - Proficiency in MS Office and computer operations - Superior verbal and written English communication skills - Willingness to work weekends and public holidays - Excellent timekeeping and a strong work ethic - Reliable attendance record

DUTIES: - Deliver superior service to all customers visiting the store - Foster strong customer relationships through professional and friendly interactions - Identify customers’ project needs and recommend appropriate products - Provide customers with comprehensive application and technical information for the sanitaryware product range - Offer guidance on complete bathroom solutions rather than focusing on individual products - Utilize sales and marketing strategies to promote purchases, upselling, and additional product promotion - Process customer orders and explain relevant procedures including payment, delivery, and dispatch - Conduct telesales and follow up on outstanding orders, quotations, and PIKs (Picking Lists)

HOURS: - Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00 - Saturdays: 08:00 – 15:00 - Alternate Sundays: 09:00 – 14:00, with one weekday off in lieu for each Sunday worked - Public Holidays: 09:00 – 14:00 (overtime)
