Description: Hire Resolve's client, a leading mining company situated in Gauteng, is in search of an accomplished Project Manager. In this role, you will oversee capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities: • Formulate and present project budgets aligned with the defined scope and user requirements. • Oversee the capital stage-gate process for all assigned projects, spanning from concept and initiation to feasibility, final design, execution, handover, and project closure. • Manage contractors and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and timely project solutions. • Ensure that technical solutions enhance plant efficiency and productivity. • Provide maintenance-friendly technical solutions that facilitate effective repairs and maintenance. • Identify and suggest enhancements to systems and processes aimed at increasing throughput, reducing utility consumption, and minimizing maintenance effort. • Manage SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) requirements to safeguard equipment, machinery, personnel, and products against risks. • Promptly identify hazards and conduct risk assessments for proposed solutions. • Supervise contractors in compliance with relevant SHEQ standards and procedures.

Requirements: • Grade 12 • National Diploma in Engineering • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager in a heavy industry context • Project Management Professional certification or another advanced management certification (preferred) • Minimum 2 years’ experience in operating or supervising machinery within a heavy industry setting • Valid Driver's License
