Position Overview: The role of Customer Service Agent at Europcar Car Rental, based at King Shaka Airport, is designed to achieve the branch’s objectives through the provision of exceptional and professional customer service in compliance with company quality management protocols. Job Outputs: - Manage customer check-in and check-out transactions efficiently and in accordance with company quality control, claims, and accident procedures. - Make, amend, cancel, and monitor reservations as needed. - Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing customer inquiries proficiently. - Perform various administrative and general office tasks, including fuel capturing, VRV’s, non-revs, following up on overdue rentals, scanning, partial billing, fleet movement control, claims reports, rental deposits, and handling lost property recoveries from vehicles. - Ensure the security and quality control of vehicles and other company assets. - Identify and report expired licenses, service due vehicles, and other quality standard non-conforming issues. - Maintain good housekeeping and general cleanliness standards for the branch environment. - Undertake additional duties as required.
Minimum Experience: - 2 years of front office or customer service experience.
Minimum Qualification: - NQF level 4 (Matric or equivalent).
Minimum Requirements: - Code 8 driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience. - Computer literate.
Competencies: - Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written). - Outstanding interpersonal skills, articulate and well-spoken. - Strong customer focus with a demonstrated ability to take initiative. - Superior telephone and face-to-face customer relations and counter selling skills. - Ability to handle pressure and exhibit good time management, urgency, and commitment. - High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. - Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills across diverse cultural backgrounds.
