Description
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lend expert support to a client on a project-by-project basis. The right candidate will offer high-level technical proficiency in cloud infrastructure and Microsoft technologies, ensuring the successful delivery, enhancement, and troubleshooting of enterprise IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, maintain, and oversee cloud infrastructure environments. • Deliver senior technical guidance on ad-hoc infrastructure and cloud projects. • Manage and support Microsoft Azure cloud services and environments. • Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory and other related Microsoft infrastructure technologies. • Troubleshoot intricate issues in infrastructure, cloud, connectivity, and systems. • Support cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, integrations, and optimization initiatives. • Implement and uphold infrastructure security, access controls, and best practices. • Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and client representatives to fulfill project requirements. • Generate technical documentation, reports, and facilitate knowledge transfer when needed. • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, performance, and operational standards.
Required Experience & Skills
• Over 10 years of experience in large corporate/enterprise IT environments. • Extensive expertise in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering. • Profound knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Azure. • Strong understanding and practical experience with Microsoft Active Directory. • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networking, security, and systems administration. • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure projects and technical implementations. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work autonomously and handle ad-hoc project demands. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills. • Proficiency across the Microsoft technology ecosystem.
Advantageous
• Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305 or equivalent. • Experience with Azure networking, security, identity, and governance. • Experience with hybrid cloud environments. • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). • Experience with PowerShell. • Experience working with enterprise-scale cloud environments.
