Description
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to deliver specialized technical expertise on an ad-hoc, project-by-project basis for our clients. The successful candidate will offer advanced technical proficiency in cloud infrastructure and Microsoft technologies, facilitating the creation, optimization, and troubleshooting of sophisticated enterprise IT environments.
Responsibilities
• Conceptualize, establish, uphold, and oversee cloud infrastructure setups. • Deliver high-level technical guidance on ad-hoc projects related to infrastructure and cloud services. • Oversee and administer Microsoft Azure cloud services and environments. • Manage and support Microsoft Active Directory and associated Microsoft infrastructure technologies. • Diagnose and resolve intricate issues across infrastructure, cloud connectivity, and system operations. • Support initiatives for cloud migrations, infrastructure enhancements, integration, and optimization. • Implement and uphold infrastructure security measures, access controls, and best practices. • Cooperate with technical teams, stakeholders, and client representatives to meet project objectives. • Offer technical documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer as needed. • Ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture, security, performance, and operational standards.
Experience & Skills Required
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in large corporate/enterprise IT environments. • Proficient in Cloud Infrastructure Engineering. • Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure. • Practical knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory. • In-depth understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, security, and systems administration. • Proven experience in supporting cloud infrastructure projects and technical implementations. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to work autonomously and handle ad-hoc project needs. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilities. • Proficiency throughout the Microsoft technology suite.
Advantageous
• Certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent in Azure. • Familiarity with Azure networking, security, identity, and governance. • Experience with hybrid cloud environments. • Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). • Competence with PowerShell. • Experience in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
