Job Description: Motus Autoworx, a premier organization in the automotive repair sector, is looking for an experienced, honest, and dependable individual with expertise in stripping vehicle parts to join our team as a Parts Stripper at our Durban Speed Shop branch.
Position Overview: The role entails disassembling and reassembling vehicle components during different stages of repair, adhering to OEM standards.
Minimum Experience: At least 1 year in paint application processes.
Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
Minimum Requirements: Valid, unendorsed Code 8 driverās licenseBasic computer literacyAble to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, at the required workplace standard.
Job Outputs: Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as per the job card and/or instructions from the line manager. Adhere to standard operating procedures to ensure quality and safety. Safeguard all disassembled parts. Transport vehicles to designated areas within the workshop or yard as needed. Identify and report any defects or imperfections in the paint process before assembly. Collaborate with the production team to maintain workflow and help meet production targets. Operate and maintain assembly equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. Prepare and organize workstations to promote an efficient assembly process. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing assembly duties. Document production activities, including any issues encountered during assembly. Assist in training new team members on assembly processes and quality standards.
Skills and Competencies: Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Good time management and organizational skills. Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
