Our Interior Design and Styling teams collaborate across various stores to maintain and enhance these environments, and hands-on support is crucial for the success of these projects. We are currently seeking a dedicated Showroom Support Specialist who thrives on practical tasks, working across different store locations and being part of a dynamic team. This role will assist Interior Designers and Stylists with showroom renovations, furniture relocations, installations, basic upkeep, and general styling duties.
Key Responsibilities: • Accompany Interior Designers and Stylists to stores within the designated region • Aid in showroom renovations, layout modifications, and furniture relocations • Arrange furniture, décor, and display elements in accordance with styling directives • Help with mounting artwork, mirrors, signage, and other display fixtures • Perform basic maintenance, minor repairs, and installations within showroom areas • Assist in preparing stores for styling transformations, launches, revamps, and installations • Safely handle, unpack, and move stock and display items • Maintain tools, work areas, and general cleanliness during projects • Offer practical support to Interior Designers and Stylists to efficiently complete store updates
Skills and Requirements: • Practical, hands-on approach with comfort in physical labor • Basic maintenance and DIY skills beneficial • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately • Reliable, organized, and willing to work across multiple locations • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities • Comfortable working in a retail and showroom setting • Ability to work independently when needed
Minimum Requirements: • Grade 12 education preferred • Previous experience in retail, maintenance, installations, furniture handling, or general assistance is advantageous • Basic numeracy and literacy skills • Willingness and ability to travel regularly between multiple stores within the assigned region • Flexibility to assist with early starts, installations, or project work as needed
