Compensation Package: The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of R30 000 - R40 000 per month, commensurate with experience, in addition to incentives and rewards for outstanding performance.

Primary Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the following critical tasks:

• Overseeing and managing third-party claims from inception to resolution, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion. - Conducting thorough assessments of claims, gathering essential documentation, and evaluating the merits of each case to inform strategic decisions. - Developing and crafting well-structured legal correspondence, pleadings, and other relevant documents that meet the highest standards of professionalism. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, medical practitioners, experts, insurers, and other stakeholders through effective communication and negotiation. - Performing comprehensive legal research and providing expert advice on third-party claims matters to inform decision-making. - Monitoring claim progress, following up on outstanding documentation, and ensuring compliance with deadlines to maintain the highest level of professionalism. - Negotiating settlements where appropriate and collaborating with clients and other parties to ensure the successful resolution of claims. - Maintaining accurate, up-to-date case files and ensuring adherence to relevant legal procedures and requirements to guarantee the highest standards of compliance. - Providing regular, timely, and transparent updates to clients regarding the progress of their claims, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the process.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

• A recognized LLB degree and admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, demonstrating a strong foundation in law. - 2-3 years of experience in third-party claims, gained through articles or other relevant experiences, with a proven track record of handling claims independently. - Practical experience in third-party claims matters, with a keen understanding of relevant legislation, legal procedures, and claims processes. - Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. - Outstanding client liaison, negotiation, and communication skills, with fluency in both Afrikaans and English. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion. - A professional, proactive, and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations.
