Introduction Are you a visionary leader prepared to assume complete responsibility for a retail establishment? In your capacity as a Branch Manager, your principal function will be to strategically guide and enhance the overall operational efficiency of your store. This includes driving daily sales and profitability, ensuring exceptional customer service and visual merchandising, and managing the store akin to an independently operated business.

Key Responsibilities Store Performance: Your duties will encompass executing daily sales strategies, overseeing budgets, managing store expenses, and analyzing local sales trends to ensure your store meets or surpasses profitability objectives.

Floor Leadership & Execution: You will be tasked with effectively implementing the visual merchandising planograms, managing promotional campaigns, and conducting daily morning meetings, floorwalks, and checklists to maintain immaculate store standards.

Team Empowerment: You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining high-quality store personnel. This includes hosting monthly 1-on-1 performance reviews, tracking digital training participation (Axonify), and fostering a high-performance culture.

Risk & Admin Control: You will handle crucial in-store administrative tasks, such as cash-ups and stock counts. Additionally, you will actively manage stock loss/shrinkage and ensure that health & safety standards are upheld.

Customer Service Champion: Immediate resolution of customer issues on the floor is expected of you. You will review social/Google reviews and CRM reports daily, and motivate your staff to deliver an unparalleled in-store experience.

Qualifications Required Education: A Matric certificate is mandatory. Experience: A minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in the retail sector is required.

Core Competencies You must demonstrate strong capabilities in decision-making and initiating action, leading and supervising, planning and organizing, coping with pressure, and entrepreneurial thinking.

Skills Proficiency in Google Suite, operational stock management, and a solid understanding of retail and consumer finance operating systems (SAP/SAS) and legislations (CPA, NCA, POPIA, etc.) are essential.
